Alan Yeo

Alan graduated with a double degree in Law and Economics from Keele University in the United Kingdom. After graduation, he trained at the Police Academy for nine months before becoming the first direct entry Assistant Superintendent with the Central Narcotics Bureau. Over a short stint of four years, he was appointed the Head of Intelligence Operations. He felt the prompting of God’s calling upon his life way back when he became a Christian at a young age. During a period of rebellion, he became like the prodigal son and it was by God’s mercy that he returned to God when he joined Evangel Family Church. In 1999, he beame a missionary under Jireh Evangel Church Planting Philippines to the Philippines. Alan became an ordained minister in 1999. For two years, he travelled to various parts of the Philippines ministering to outstation and city churches. In May 2001, he returned to Singapore and is presently a Community Pastor at Evangel. His ministry coverage includes overseeing a youth region, being the Web Coordinator for Evangel's website and part of the marketing team at Yellowren Productions, a music publishing entity of Evangel. He loves exploring the world God had created through travel, photography, reading, music and interaction with people. He desires to be a catalyst to spur the youths in his region to intentionally connect with their community as friends and to reflect the love of God in their community.
