Casey Chan

Casey holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Singapore Polytechnic. After his National Service, he worked for Matsushita for three years before moving on to TransIsland Bus Service as an Assistant Engineering Superintendent. Casey moved from noises of machines to the cries of souls when he came aboard Evangel Family Church. He concludes that serving in Evangel has proven to be both the most challenging and rewarding ‘career’ of his life. Casey Chan is currently a Community Pastor overseeing the Chinese ministry and the Mandarin worship service. He is proficient in both the English & Mandarin languages and is also conversant in various Chinese dialects. Besides his pastoral role, Casey is also a part of the building maintenance team, oversees the Filipno Fellowship and is a licensed solemniser. Casey became an ordained minister in 2006. Casey is happily married to Sandra, a secretary in a Japanese Corporation and they have two beautiful children, Marc (13 years old) and Mae (5 years old). He loves to spend time with his family, planning outings either to the zoo, park, swimming pool or other places of interest. He also likes to have a quiet moment with his wife and to hear and see the laughter of his children. He says that, “all these bring a deep satisfaction in my heart as I consider these moments to be sacred.” His passion is to see the Mandarin-speaking community whether young or old discovering their real purpose and meaning in life.
