Jeremy Chia

Jeremy Chia studied at Curtin University of Technology, Australia, where he earned a degree majoring in Multimedia Design and a postgraduate diploma in marketing. He is currently pursuing the Masters of Fine Arts programme in Animation and Digital Arts at Tisch Asia - New York University School of the Arts. He came to Evangel Family Church when he was in Secondary One and took pleasure in getting involved with the activities and projects of his local church. Prior to his tertiary studies, Jeremy worked as a Project Coordinator in Pico Art International, handling the production and installation of cosmetic counters of international brand names such as Estee Lauder. With no previous knowledge on design or desktop publishing, God opened the door for him to pursue his university education. It was in his final year that God planted the thought of serving the local church on a full-time basis. Jeremy is presently the Creative Director for both Evangel Family Church and Yellowren Productions, a music publishing entity of Evangel. He is currently responsible for the production of promotional and advertising materials, post-production video editing and web design. In addition, he oversees the Sound ministry, assists in IT administration and is in the advisory team to Evangel's building matters. Jeremy is married to Dayna, a Curriculum Planning Officer with the Ministry of Education. Jeremy loves travelling, meeting his wife at the end of the day and taking the long drive home and playing soccer. Jeremy desires to connect with the members from the community groups he oversees with Dayna and help them find a sense of belonging in the local church.
