Mun Ying

Mun Ying attended the Nanyang Technological University where she earned a degree in Accountancy. After her graduation, she worked as an internal auditor for Tat Lee Bank for three years before receiving the call to enter the full-time ministry in 1994. She received her ordination in 2006 and is presently a Community Pastor at Evangel. Her ministry coverage is wide, which includes overseeing a youth region, accounting, administrative and secretarial responsibilities, and worship leading, having led in worship before a crowd of 10,000. Needless to say, she enjoys music and singing, and also spending time with her family and fellowshipping with friends together with her husband, Tai Chian, a fellow colleague and pastor. They have two beautiful children, Olivia (16 years old) and Elijah (11 years old). Both Olivia and Elijah are serving in the Music Ministry. Mun Ying recognises that young people are the next generation of the church and sees the need to mentor them to make decisions that will realise their potential and achieve the best results that God intends for them.
