Susan Lee

Susan Lee is one of the longest serving staff in Evangel. After the completion of her secondary education, Susan rose through the ranks from a clerk to become a purchasing officer in an engineering firm. In 1986, after a career of 15 years, she left her last work place at Abacus Corporation, responding to God's calling by joining Evangel as an Accountant. Initially, she struggled with her decision as she was neither trained in accountancy nor had any experience in this field. With much courage, she handed her resignation letter to her boss and told him of her decision to work for a church. Although her boss was not willing to accept her resignation, she boldly told him that God wanted her to work for Him and she must obey. Her boss then reluctantly accepted her resignation but told her, "We will always welcome you back if you find yourself unhappy working in church.” Well for Susan, there was no turning back. Besides her role as an accountant, she is also a Community Pastor assisting Nicholas Nah. She enjoys travelling and exploring new places and a good plate of spicy pepper crabs. She endeavours to be an encourager to others and it's her joy to see people come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
