Fezz Hoo

At the age of 22, Fezz's talents were quickly noticed and he was handpicked to attend a games development internship at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was also chosen to provide all the animated contents for the 2010 Singapore Youth Olympic Games Opening and Closing ceremonies. Fezz went on to further his studies and he graduated from Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Hollywood, California in December 2010. He then completed an industry-training program at Look Effects in Los Angeles as a visual effects artist where he worked on major film productions liked 'The Muppets Movie', and 'Captain America -The First Avenger'. He believed that being a VFX artist is a lifelong learning journey and one's skills must continue to improve. His goal is to become a visual effects supervisor in the future but he is depending on God to guide him and be his driving force. Fezz's first encounter with Evangel was when they conducted the funeral of his younger brother who had passed away suddenly. Through the time of despair, Fezz found hope and faith in God. In 2012, Fezz responded to join Evangel as a Media Artist. He hopes to share his knowledge and create a small community in Evangel that will nurture independent artists who can tell stories through animation/ films. He believes that starting this community enables him to connect with people.
